Rounds: Best Practice
Having multiple rounds is especially useful if you want your competition to have several phases or submissions.
Each round can have a complete separate setup depending on the nature of your competition.
Eligibility Round: Each team must fill basic information and a report demonstrating the design and functionality of their software. You want this round to be judged by program managers to qualify the nature of submissions and to have initial deadlines. Once done, based on this round's analysis, you notify both qualified and unqualified teams about the status of their submissions.
Classification Round: Qualified participants in this round will be evaluated by different judges with a more technical background to assess the quality of their submissions with a different submission and evaluation form provided with different deadlines than the initial round. This round provides different insights/analysis based on the chosen criteria you've built.
Final Round: In addition to having a unique setup as the previous rounds, you may choose to mark it as the Evaluation Round
Tip: You can always deem a round to not need any judgement and move submissions to the Round Score page directly
