Your evaluation form is the scorecard your evaluators fill in for each submission. Here's how to build it so scores add up correctly and evaluators know exactly what to look for.
I. Open the evaluation form builder
Open your program and click the round's tab (for example 1 First Round).
Click the Evaluation Form tab, next to Submission Form.
In Select Track, choose the evaluation form. It shows which submission form(s) it's linked to and whether it's Published.
Track notes
You can use one evaluation form for several tracks, or a separate form for each track. Different forms can have different maximum scores.
Check you've selected the right form before editing. The builder saves every change automatically.
Use Use template or the AI Assistant to create a scoring rubric quickly.
II. Design the form (Designer tab)
The Designer works like the submission form builder, but these questions are only shown to evaluators.
A. Evaluation Fields
Choose a field type from the left menu, or click Add Question.
Field Type | Use |
Rating Scale | A numerical rating on a defined scale (for example 1–5). |
Rating Slider | A slider for a precise numerical score. |
Dropdown / Radio Button Group | One predefined choice. Give options numeric values (for example 0, 1, 2) if they should count towards the score. |
Yes/No | A simple yes or no. |
Feedback | A long-text box for written comments. |
Other Fields / Misc | Single-line input, long text and so on. These are for notes only and don't affect the score. |
B. Customize the form
Edit content: change the title, description and options in the question box. Put the criterion's weight and guidance in the description so evaluators see it.
Duplicate a question to reuse it.
Required: use the star icon to make a criterion mandatory.
III. Refine the form
The evaluation form uses the same builder as the submission form, including the settings panel, Preview, Logic, Code Editor and Translations. See Building Your Submission Form for the details.
Logic example: if the score is low, show "What is the main reason for this rating?".
Tip: to control which submission answers evaluators see, use Evaluator Preview in the Submission Form tab. Switch off the fields you want to hide, then click Confirm Preview.
What's next?
You can expand your process by adding more rounds.
