Organising Evaluators into Panels

Group evaluators into panels, assign submissions to a whole panel, and track each panel's progress.

Panels let you group evaluators and assign submissions to a whole committee at once. They're handy for sector juries, or whenever you want several evaluators to review each submission.

Create a panel

  1. Open the round and go to the Evaluators tab.

  2. Switch from Evaluators to Panels.

  3. Click Add Panel.

  4. Give the panel a name, choose its evaluators, and save.

Assign submissions to a panel

  • By hand: in the Submissions tab, select the submissions and click the Assign evaluators/panels icon (or ⋯ More options → Assign evaluators/panels on smaller screens). In the Assign Evaluators dialog, choose Add Panel, pick the panel, and click Assign to evaluator/panel.

  • Automatically: give the panel an assignment rule in the Assign Evaluators dialog, such as Assign based on submission tracks or Assign based on participant tag(s). You'll see it in the Assigned Rules column. Rules apply to submissions that arrive after you set the rule. See Assigning Judges to Submissions.

Track progress

The Panels table shows each panel's Evaluators, Progress, Avg Score, Highest Score and Lowest Score, plus Avg Time and Overall Time. Use the toolbar to tag, add notes to, message or export panels.

Tips

  • Use one panel per track or sector, so each committee only sees the submissions that matter to them.

  • Check the alerts in the program's Analytics executive summary to spot submissions that don't have an evaluator yet.
