Adding Submission and Evaluation Rounds

Set up multiple rounds to manage submissions and evaluations in structured stages.

Rounds turn your program into a step-by-step funnel, for example an application, then a full proposal, then a final pitch. Here's how to add a round and set it up.

I. Round types

A program is made of rounds that run one after another. Each round appears as a numbered tab at the top of the program (for example "1 Idea Submission", "2 Bootcamp", "3 Final Pitch").

  • Submission rounds: participants submit or refine their entries, for example a first application followed by a full proposal.

  • Evaluation rounds: evaluators review submissions in stages, with different evaluators at each stage if you like, for a fairer multi-level process.

Participants move to the next round when you qualify them, either by hand or automatically with Qualification Settings.

II. Add and set up a new round

  1. Click + New Round at the top right of the program page.

  2. Enter the Round Title.

  3. Choose the Round Type (Submission Round or Evaluation Round).

  4. Click Add.

Then open the new round's Settings tab:

  • General Settings: set the Submission Dates, Evaluation Dates and Timezone. Each round has its own timezone. A qualified participant can continue into this round while its submission dates are open.

  • Evaluation Settings: for example Allow evaluators to edit their evaluations until evaluation deadline, Enable admin judging and Enable public voting.

  • Then build the round's Submission Form and/or Evaluation Form, add people in the Evaluators tab, and check its Messages.

Tip: plan your round order first. Rounds stay in the order you create them, and only the last round can be deleted (with Delete Round).

What's next?

Add rounds until your program funnel is complete. Then invite participants.
