Editing Buttons and Links on Your Website

Change a button's text or link, and find the right link for your program's Apply page.

Point your website's buttons to the right place. Here's how to change a button's text or link, and which link to use for your program's Apply page.

Change a button's text or link

  1. Go to Gear icon → CMS.

  2. Open the page's ⋮ Actions menu and choose Edit.

  3. Click the button on the page to select it.

  4. To change the text, click into the button and type your new wording.

  5. To change the link, open the Properties tab in the right panel and edit the URL.

  6. Click Save (top right).

Tip: if a change doesn't stick, check you didn't type it in the Code window, which is view-only. See Page Builder Basics: Editing Code, Styles and Saving.

Which link should an "Apply now" button use?

  • One program: open the program in your dashboard and click the Direct Application URL icon at the top of the page to copy its link.

  • All your programs: use your-platform-address/programs. This is also where the default Programs menu item goes.

Good to know: make sure the program is published so the link works for visitors.

Rename the program's own Apply button

You can rename the Apply button on the program page itself. See Renaming Program Buttons (Apply Now, Vote and More).
