Connecting Your AI Provider (AI Integration)

Connect your own AI account to power the AI form builder, page builder, submission screening and CV parsing.

Connect your organization's own AI provider account to switch on Untap's AI features. You only need to do this once per platform. It powers:

  • the AI Assistant in the form builder

  • Build with AI in the page builder

  • AI Screening of submissions

  • AI-powered CV parsing

  • AI-assisted proctoring review

Connect your AI provider

  1. Click the gear icon at the top right, then Platform Settings.

  2. Open the Integrations tab and choose AI Integration.

  3. Turn on Enable AI.

  4. Choose the Provider that matches your account.

  5. Enter the API Endpoint (Base URL), your API Key and the Model.

  6. Click Test connection to check that everything works.

  7. If you like, adjust Max Tokens, Temperature, Timeout (seconds) and Retry Attempts.

  8. Click Save Settings.

Good to know

  • Your API key is stored encrypted and is never shown in full again. To replace it, type a new key; leave the field as is to keep the current one.

  • The page shows how many tokens you've used so far.

  • When Enable AI is off, AI buttons stay visible and ask admins to set up AI first.

  • Your AI provider bills you directly for usage, not Untap.
