Creating Your Workspace

Learn how to set up a Workspace in Untap to organize and manage your programs effectively.

A Workspace is where everything in Untap starts. In this guide, you'll learn how to reach your dashboard, who should create a Workspace, and how to create one in under a minute.

Reach your dashboard

  1. Log in with your admin email and password.

  2. You'll see the Workspaces list on the left and your Platform cards on the right. Each card has Manage and Visit.

The dashboard is for administrators only. Participants and evaluators log in from your program's page instead.

Who should create a Workspace?

The account owner, or the admin who manages your organization's Untap account, creates Workspaces. Participants and evaluators don't need one.

Were you invited as an admin? You probably don't need a new Workspace. The Workspace you were invited to already shows in your Workspaces list, with a share icon. Hover over it to see "Shared by" and the owner's email. If you can't find it, ask the person who invited you.

What is a Workspace?

A Workspace is the top level of your Untap account. It holds your Platforms, and each Platform holds your Programs. You can create a Workspace for each department, region or goal, so related initiatives stay together.

Tips

  • Match Workspaces to how your organization is set up, for example by department (HR, R&D) or by region (North America, APAC).

  • Keep related Platforms and Programs in the same Workspace so they're easy to find and manage together.

Here's an example of a dashboard with several Workspaces:

Create a Workspace

  1. On the left side of your dashboard, find the Workspaces heading.

  2. Click the New Workspace icon next to it.

  3. In the Create Workspace window, enter a Workspace Title that describes its purpose, for example "R&D Department".

  4. Click Create.

Tip: to invite other admins to manage a Workspace, or to delete it, open the ⋮ menu next to its title and choose Manage Managers or Delete Workspace.
