Chat lets participants and evaluators message you directly during the program, so they get quick answers when they need them. Each round has its own chat inbox.
Find the chat inbox
Open the program and select the round.
Click the Chat tab (the last tab, after Round Analysis). A red dot means you have unread messages.
Choose Participants or Evaluators.
Filter by All, Read or Unread.
Click a conversation to read it and reply.
Reply to messages
When a participant or evaluator sends a message, you can reply and carry on the conversation in the chat panel.
Good to know: chat conversations are started by participants and evaluators. To reach out to people yourself, select them in the round's Participants, Submissions or Evaluators tab and click Send Message. See Sending Bulk Emails.
Manage your inbox
Read and Unread: switch between read and unread messages to stay on top of your inbox.
Status: set your chat status (Online, Away, Do not disturb or Offline) at the top of the chat panel.
Turn chat off
Open the program's Content tab.
Tick Disable chat with participants.
Click Save Content.
