You can add submissions yourself at any time, even after the submission deadline. There's no need to reopen the round or clone the program.
When to use this
A participant missed the deadline and you want to accept their entry.
You received nominations by email and want to add them to the program.
You're moving entries over from another tool.
You want to submit on behalf of a participant.
Import submissions
Open the program, select the round, and go to the Submissions tab.
Click the Import Submissions icon in the toolbar (or ⋯ More options → Import Submissions on smaller screens).
In Select Track, choose the track the submissions belong to.
Click Export Template to download the file for that track.
Fill in one row per submission. The columns are Participant Name, Participant Email, then the form question titles.
Under Upload File (CSV or XLSX), choose your file.
Click Upload.
Tip: always start from the exported template. Question titles in your file need to match the form exactly, otherwise those columns are skipped.
Let the participant complete their own submission
If you imported only the name and email, the participant can fill in the rest themselves:
On the submission's row, open the ⋮ menu and click Enable Editing.
Ask the participant to log in through the program page. If they've never set a password, they can click Forgot password? on the login page. You can also send them a login link from Gear icon → Users → Participants: open their ⋮ menu and click Send Instant Login.
The participant completes and submits the form.
Good to know
Imported submissions work like any other submission: you can assign evaluators, qualify them and send messages.
To change an existing submission instead of adding a new one, open its ⋮ menu and click Edit.
To add people without a submission (for example to invite them), go to Gear icon → Users → Participants and click Import participants.
