Publishing Pages, Setting Your Homepage, Sub-pages and Menu

Publish CMS pages, set your homepage from Theme Settings, add sub-pages to the menu and dropdowns, and fix "This Page Can't Be Found".

Get your website pages live and easy to find. This guide shows you how to publish a page, choose your homepage, and add pages to your menu.

Publish a page

New pages start unpublished, and visitors see "This Page Can't Be Found" until you publish them.

  1. Go to Gear icon → CMS → Pages.

  2. Turn on the Status switch in the page's row. You'll see a "Saved" message.

  3. Open the page's ⋮ Actions menu and choose View to see it live.

The page's address is your platform address followed by its Slug, for example yourplatform.untap.us/faq.

Set your homepage

Publish the page first, then use either method below.

From Platform Settings (recommended)

  1. Go to Gear icon → Platform Settings → Theme Settings.

  2. Open the Pages section.

  3. In Select Platform Homepage, choose your page.

  4. Click Save Settings.

On the same screen you can also choose your site-wide Header Menu and Footer Menu, and the pages for your Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

From the CMS

  1. Go to Gear icon → CMS → Pages.

  2. Open the page's ⋮ Actions menu and choose Set as homepage.

The same menu also has Set Header/Footer, Preview, Clone and View.

Add pages to your menu

1. Create and publish the page

  1. In CMS → Pages, click + Add Page and build the page.

  2. Turn on its Status switch.

  3. Copy its Slug from the Pages list (for example faq).

2. Add it to the menu

  1. Go to Gear icon → Platform Settings → Menu Settings.

  2. Open Add New Menu Item at the bottom of the menu list.

  3. Type the label in English Title (and in your other languages, if shown).

  4. In URL, enter your platform address followed by the slug, for example https://yourplatform.untap.us/faq.

  5. Optional: tick Visible to logged-in users only or Visible to visitors only (logged out), and choose languages in Display by Language.

  6. Click + Add Menu Item.

  7. Click Save Settings to publish your menu changes.

3. Put a page under another menu item (dropdown)

  1. In Menu Settings, open the ⋮ menu of the parent item.

  2. Choose Add Submenu and enter the page's title and URL.

  3. Click Save Settings.

More menu options

  • Reorder: drag items by the handle.

  • Show or hide: use each item's switch, for example for Courses, Community, Calendar, Bookings or Events.

  • System Menu Settings: control participant registration, the login button, the account and notification icons, the language selector, and whether the menu stays fixed while scrolling.

If a page shows "This Page Can't Be Found"

  • Check that the page's Status switch is on in CMS → Pages.

  • Check that the menu URL uses the page's exact Slug, and that the page still exists.

  • Links to a section of a page (such as Timeline or FAQ) need updating if that section was renamed.

  • Links to a program work while the program is published.
